Our Approach
Every child is unique and so is every session.
Each session is:
-
Strengths-Based — We build on what your child loves and does well.
-
Family-Centred — Your voice matters. We work together as a team.
-
Evidence-Based — Interventions are grounded in research and clinical expertise.
-
Creative and Playful — We use music to make learning and growth joyful.
Multifaceted Support
At Prelude Therapy, we understand that no two children are the same — and neither are their journeys.
We know that many young people experience more than one diagnosis or area of need, and we’re here to see beyond the labels.
We meet each child as a whole, vibrant person, focusing on their unique strengths, passions, and potential. Our approach is always centred on connection, growth, and celebrating every step forward, no matter how small.
Our sessions are designed for families with young children facing a variety of challenges, including:

-
Genetic conditions affecting development (e.g., Fragile X Syndrome)
-
And many other early childhood needs

Whether you’re looking to build communication skills, foster emotional regulation, support motor development, or simply bring more joy and connection into your child's life — we are here for you.
